April - Birmingham, AL - Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth, SCLC and Dr. King chose Birmingham and Public Safety Commissioner T. Eugene "Bull" Connor as their next integration target. They organized a series of mass meetings, marches, rallies and boycotts of local businesses.
