Black Quilted Narratives: Diverse Voices Transforming American Culture, History and Values (BQN)is an educational program that fosters understanding and acceptance, inclusion, and racial healing through culturally responsive instruction. BQN online resources for teachers include: lesson plans, oral history video clips, and primary resources.

 

Integrating with All Deliberate Speed is a series of multimedia lessons from NVLP. This comprehensive unit was developed for middle and high school teachers and was highlighted in the National Education Association magazine "NEA Today." It features NVLP’s unprecedented collection of video history interviews with African American pioneers, a timeline of the Civil Rights Movement, and a wealth of primary source materials, including photographs, speeches, and historical documents.
