Businessman, Community Activist, Warden of Orleans Parish Prison








BIOGRAPHY
In his early life Rudolph Belisle enjoyed a career as an entrepreneur, owning and operating several clubs and convenience stores in New Orleans.  He is now affectionately known as "Chief Rudy" or simply "Chief."  This title is well deserved; he obtained it working for the Orleans Parish Prison where he has been employed for the past twenty-nine years.  During this time, he has helped to diversify the leadership at the prison and has earned the respect of both colleagues and inmates.  He is a respected member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he participates in the Men's Ministry and uses his influence and personal finances to support outreach, tutoring, andrecreational programs for youth and other members of the local community.
