The 2-hour roundtable includes an intimate, one-on-one conversation with Gregory, one of NVLP’s 2002 National Visionaries, followed by a lively panel discussion exploring the role of black humor including how far is too far, its impression on today’s pop culture and recent comments from the film "Barber Shop." Dr. Jannette Dates, dean of Howard University’s School of Communications, and young comedian William Toxler, joined Gregory on the panel. Renee Poussaint moderated.

This roundtable discussion marks the fourth in a series of intimate dialogues with NVLP National Visionaries and a small, informed intergenerational audience conducted at NVLP headquarters in Washington, D.C.
