PARTNERSHIPS
One of the most rewarding experiences for all of us at NVLP is to work with local schools, churches, and community organizations as they take some of the NVLP resources, and turn them into brand new programs that work specifically for them. We learn a lot from our community partners, and want to thank each of them for helping us to grow.
Some of these outstanding partners and programs include:
Reach into Cultural Heights (RICH)
Dunbar Alumni Federation Oral History ProjectAunt Hattie’s Place
J.C. Nalle Elementary School, Washington, DC
Shiloh Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, Washington, DC
The National Association of Black School Educators
NABSE has agreed to work with NVLP in coming up with formats that would make the elders’ material appropriate for use in classrooms at every level in schools throughout the country.
